TOLLESON, Ariz. — A head-on collision in the West Valley on Saturday killed two adults and sent an unknown number of children to the hospital, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
The Tolleson Police Department told 12News the crash happened at about 1:20 p.m. near the intersection of 85th Avenue and McDowell Road.
MCSO said that a man and woman were killed in the crash. Multiple children were also taken to a nearby hospital with "very serious injuries." MCSO did not say exactly how many children were injured.
The people who were killed have not been identified and the cause of the crash has not been announced.
