SUN CITY WEST, Ariz. — A man has died after a car and motorcycle collided in Sun City West, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
MCSO told 12News that deputies were called to the intersection of Meeker Boulevard and Camino Del Sol at about 6 p.m. on Saturday due to the crash.
The man who was riding the motorcycle died at the scene of the crash, according to MCSO.
The driver of the car, only identified as an adult woman, was not hurt and stayed at the scene of the crash to talk with deputies.
MCSO said that impairment does not appear to be a factor in this crash and that deputies are still investigating how it happened.
The intersection of Camino Del Sol and Meeker Boulevard will be closed for the next several hours as the crash is investigated, so MCSO advises drivers to find alternate routes to their destinations.
No other information about the crash has been released and the man who was killed has not been identified.
