PHOENIX — The southbound lanes of State Route 143 at University Drive in Phoenix are reopened, authorities said.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety said the crash involved a motorcyclist hitting the end of a barrier wall.
DPS said it is unknown what the cause of the crash was or what the extent of the injuries are.
The Arizona Department of Transportation said the southbound lanes of SR 143 were closed at University Drive for about an hour.
