Crash on US 60 leaves 'several' injured including 3 juveniles, authorities say

The crash Thursday morning caused multiple "minor to moderate" injuries and led to a smaller secondary crash, DPS says.

MESA, Ariz. — A crash on US 60 at Val Vista Drive Thursday morning led to the hospitalization of several people, including three juveniles, Department of Public Safety officials said.

The crash reportedly happened around 7:22 a.m. and caused a smaller, secondary crash. No injuries were reported in the second crash. 

Multiple people involved in the first crash were taken to the hospital with "minor to moderate" injuries, according to DPS.

The cause of the crash and the exact number of people who were hurt is currently unknown.
