CHANDLER, Ariz. — Drivers in the East Valley had some delays Friday morning after a two-vehicle crash shut down Loop 101 southbound near Guadalupe Road.
The Department of Public Safety reported that people were injured in the crash, but were unable to provide more details at the time.
Drivers were rerouted off the highway at Guadalupe Road, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. The southbound lanes were reopened shortly after 8 a.m.
The northbound lanes were unaffected by the crash. The cause of the crash is currently unknown.
