A motorcycle collided with a car towing a trailer and now at least 1 person has died

The crash happened at the intersection of Pinal Avenue and Val Vista Boulevard in Casa Grande. Here are the latest details.

CASA GRANDE, Ariz. — At least one person has died after a crash in Casa Grande, according to a post from the city's police department on Facebook

Casa Grande police said a motorcycle and a car towing a trailer collided at the intersection of Pinal Avenue and Val Vista Boulevard and that the crash is fatal. 

Northbound Pinal Avenue is closed at Val Vista Boulevard and eastbound Val Vista Boulevard is closed at Pinal Avenue as police investigate the crash. 

The closure is expected to be in place "for an extended time." Police are asking drivers to find alternate routes and drive with caution. 

No other details about the crash have been released.
