TORTILLA FLAT, Ariz. — A driver was rescued after a vehicle went off the road and a cliff on State Route 88 east of Tortilla Flat, authorities said.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety investigated a crash on SR-88 early Sunday morning. A Honda Civic went off the road and down a cliff, authorities said.
The Mesa Fire Department took the driver to a local hospital. Authorities did not release the identity of the driver or the extent of the driver's injuries.
No other information, including what led up to the crash, was released.
