GLENDALE, Ariz. — One person is fighting for their life in a Valley hospital after a car crashed into a home in Glendale, according to the Glendale Police Department.
The department told 12News that the car crashed into a home on the 6500 block of Wahalla Lane at about 7:40 p.m. on Sunday. That area is just southwest of the intersection of 67th Avenue and Beardsley Road.

The department said there were people inside the home when the car crashed into it and that a woman who was inside the home had been taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition and received "life-saving measures."
The department added that the woman was still in critical condition with severe internal injuries on Monday.
GPD said that speed and impairment were factors in this crash.
Detectives are still investigating how the crash happened. No one has been arrested.
No one involved in this crash has been identified.
One neighbor, Andy Czarnecki, told 12News he scrambled to help firefighters remove the woman, who was trapped beneath the blue sedan as it sat inside her living room.
He supplied firefighters with his car jack to help lift the car and get her medical attention.
He has lived in the Glendale neighborhood for the last 27 years and says the amount of people speeding through the area has become far too frequent.
“People seem to go pretty fast. It's always been a bone of contention with us," Czarnecki said.
He plans to contact his homeowners' association to see if any speed bumps can be added to help prevent incidents like this one from happening again.
“I have two grandkids that come visit us periodically, and when they're out here, I'm a little concerned, and that's something we talked about with other neighbors about last night to see what we could do," Czarnecki said.
He adds that his family is praying for the woman in the hospital and hopes that she can make a speedy recovery.
