GILBERT, Ariz. — A train that broke down as it was passing through Gilbert briefly blocked two major East Valley roadways.
According to the Gilbert Police Department, the train was passing through Lindsay and Warner roads when an unknown issue caused it to break down.
Drivers were asked to avoid the areas near the intersections of Lindsay and Elliot roads and Warner Road and Val Vista Drive.
Police announced that the roadways reopened shortly after 9:10 a.m.
