SURPRISE, Ariz. — A building fire has caused a portion of Bell Road to close in Surprise, the city's police department announced in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
Police said a structure fire has closed eastbound Bell Road at El Mirage Road. The closure is expected to be in place for the next several hours.
The department says drivers should go north on El Mirage Road to Williams Road or go south on El Mirage Road to Grand Avenue to get around the closure.
