PHOENIX — A city bus and another vehicle were involved in a crash Sunday morning, the city's police department said. The area of 7th Street and Bethany Home Road is closed for investigation.
Phoenix police officers responded to the area of 7th Street and Bethany Home Road for a crash involving a bus just after 8 a.m. on Sunday. When officers got to the scene, they found the driver of the other vehicle involved with serious injuries.
The driver was taken to a nearby hospital and is in critical condition.
Two other people on the bus were taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons, police said.
The area is expected to be shut down in all directions for an extended period of time while detectives investigate, police said.
