PHOENIX — A car crash involving five vehicles occurred in central Phoenix on Friday morning, the city's police department said.
Just after 8 a.m., Phoenix police responded to the area near Central Avenue and Indian School Road regarding a multiple-car crash. Police said one man was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said impairment is believed to be a factor in the crash. No other details of what led up to the crash were released.
