SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — A woman has died after sustaining injuries Tuesday afternoon in a car crash reported in Scottsdale, officials said.
Up to four people were transported after a multi-vehicle collision was reported near 84th Street and Shea Boulevard, according to a spokesperson for the police department.
Extrication was required as firefighters worked to transport the patients.
One of the injured patients passed away, police said.
Police said neither speed nor alcohol impairment appear to be involved in causing the crash.
