4 people injured in alleged DUI crash in Phoenix

The crash happened at the intersection of 27th Street and McDowell Road in Phoenix on Saturday. Here's what we know.

PHOENIX — Four people were hospitalized after a three-vehicle crash in Phoenix involving and alleged impaired driver, according to the Phoenix Police Department

The department told 12News that officers were called to the crash at the intersection of 27th Street and McDowell Road at about 7:35 p.m. on Saturday. 

When officers and firefighters got to the scene of the crash, they discovered that the driver of one of the three cars was impaired. That driver has been taken into custody and is being processed for DUI. 

A total of four people were injured and taken to the hospital. They all have non-life-threatening injuries. 

No one involved in the crash has been identified and no other details about the crash have been released.
