PHOENIX — One person is dead and another was hospitalized after a crash Friday night in central Phoenix.
The crash happened near Cave Creek and Mountain View roads around 8:30 p.m. The driver of the car was taken to a hospital where he died, officials with the Phoenix Police Department said. A woman was taken to a hospital with injuries but is expected to be OK, according to police.

Cave Creek Roads from Vogel to Cinnabar avenues will be closed for an extended period of time while officials investigate the crash.
Video from Sky12 shows the car crashed into a used car dealership and hit at least two other cars.
