PHOENIX — The Phoenix Mercury announced the sale of single-game tickets for one of their marquee games against the Indiana Fever this season. The showdown will be held at the Footprint Center on Sunday, June 30, and the price for tickets ranges from $44-$350.
Why the Indiana Fever?
Caitlin Clark. That's why.
The University of Iowa’s record-breaking guard is expected to play for the Indiana Fever if everything goes according to plan at the WNBA’s draft on April 15. Clark is expected to be drafted as a No. 1 overall pick.
In a recent social media post, the Mercury highlights the chance for Valley residents to witness greatness.
The matchup would be the first time The GOAT, also known as Mercury’s Diana Taurasi, and The Rook, now known as Caitlin Clark, battle on the hardwood. Taurasi, the three-time WNBA Champion and five-time Olympic gold medalist, and Mercury all-time franchise leader will defend the Valley in this highly anticipated game.
