ARIZONA, USA — The Arizona State Women's Tennis team has announced that their second Sun Devil has been named an Olympian. Desirae Krawczyk will be representing Team USA in women's mixed-doubles tennis at the Paris Olympics.

Krawczyk played at Arizona State University from 2013 to 2016 before graduating from the university in 2017. She made a huge impact on the program, ranking fourth-highest in all time wins for the team.

She is currently ranked No. 11 in the world in doubles and will be playing with singles world No. 11 Danielle Collins in Paris.

"In 2021, Krzwczyk became the first player to win three grand slam mixed-double titles in the same year, winning three straight beginning at the French Open, then Wimbledon and then the U.S. Open to reach No. 17 in the world in doubles rankings," the Sun Devils said on their website.

If Krawczyk wins, she'll be bringing home Team USA's eighth gold medal in women's doubles — the first since Serena Williams' 2012 victory in London.
