3 more Sun Devils qualify for Paris Olympics

Three members of the Arizona State University Swim and Dive team have qualified to compete in the Paris Olympics.

TEMPE, Ariz. — Three members of the Arizona State University Swim and Dive team have qualified for the 2024 Olympics. 

According to university officials, Tiago Behar will represent Switzerland in the 4x200-meter freestyle relay. 

Max McCusker qualified for the Ireland national team. McCusker will compete in the 100-meter fly after finishing first in the Irish Olympic Trials. 

At the 2023 Pac-12 Championships, he was part of the relay teams that won a conference title that helped ASU win their first Pac-12 championship. 

Tolu Young is an incoming freshman at ASU and qualified for the Fiji National Team in the 50-meter freestyle. 

The Olympic Games are set to take place between July 26 and August 11.
