PHOENIX — Looking for something fun to do this weekend, Coyotes fans? You might want to try some "Goodwill hunting."
A viral post on "X," formerly known as Twitter, claims fans may be able to find Coyotes gear at Goodwill locations across the Valley.
Craig Morgan of PHNX Sports posted that the Arizona Coyotes reportedly had to buy back any unsold products from the team store at Mullett Arena. Instead of picking it up, the team had Goodwill stores pick up the merchandise in storage.
Morgan shared a video showing Coyotes jerseys at a Goodwill store and said he spoke with an employee who said the Coyotes did come back and buy some items, but not all of them.
12News called Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona and could not confirm whether or not gear was officially brought to any Valley stores.

As Valley hockey fans know, last season was the club's final season in Arizona before they were sold and moved to Utah.

The Valley hosts multiple major sporting events on a yearly basis, including college football's Fiesta Bowl and Guaranteed Rate Bowl; the PGA Tour’s highest-attended event, the WM Phoenix Open; NASCAR events each spring and fall, including Championship Weekend in November; and Cactus League Spring Training for 15 Major League Baseball franchises.
