Arizona Cardinals NFL Draft picks

The Arizona Cardinals currently have 11 picks in the draft, with two (Nos. 4 and 27) in the first round. They could end up with more or less picks at the end of the three days due to trades, but all of that has yet to be decided or announced.

The Cardinals also have one pick in the second round (No. 35 overall), three picks in the third round (Nos. 66, 71 and 90 overall), one pick in the fourth round (No. 104 overall), two picks in the fifth round (Nos. 138 and 162 overall), one pick in the sixth round (No. 186 overall) and one pick in the seventh round (No. 226 overall).

How did the Cardinals get two picks in the first round?

The Cardinals got their second first-round pick from the Houston Texans in a draft-day trade in 2023. The Cardinals traded the No. 3 overall pick and the No. 105 overall pick to Houston last year in exchange for the No. 12 overall pick, last year's No. 33 overall pick and a first- and third-round pick this year. The Texans used the pick to select edge rusher Will Anderson Jr., who went on to win the NFL's Defensive Rookie of the Year award.

The Cardinals ended up trading back up to No. 6 and selecting offensive tackle Paris Johnson Jr. in last year's first round.

Who will the Cardinals take with the No. 4 pick in the NFL Draft?

While we won't know who the Cardinals will take until it is announced by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on the NFL Draft stage in Detroit, the favorite at -200 odds, according to BetMGM, is Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.

Other players that the Cardinals could select in the first round include Washington wide receiver Rome Odunze, LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers, Alabama cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry, Illinois defensive lineman Johnny 'Jer'Zhan' Newton, UCLA defensive end Laiatu Latu and Oregon center Jackson Powers-Johnson.

The NFL Draft begins at 5 p.m. Arizona time and 12 News will be following along with the Cardinals and live blogging the first round of the draft as we learn who will be heading to the Valley to join the Red Sea.
