The Washington Redskins will pay a whopping $36.5 million in fully guaranteed money over the next two years for all-pro cornerback Josh Norman.

According to contract details obtained by USA TODAY Sports, the five-year, $75 million pact Norman agreed to Friday included a $15 million signing bonus and fully guaranteed base salaries of $5 million in 2016 and $16.5 million in 2017.

His $13.5 million base salary for 2018 base salary is guaranteed for injury only until the fifth day of the 2018 league year -- which will serve as a trigger -- for a total of $50 million in guarantees.

Norman's remaining base salaries of $11 million in 2019 and $12 million in 2020 are non-guaranteed. He also can earn $500,000 in per-game roster bonuses each season from 2017 to 2020.

It's a massive contract for the position, which Norman hoped to get from the Carolina Panthers. Instead, the defending NFC champions rescinded the franchise tag last week, making him a free agent.
