Take a first tour of the new field-level seats, exclusive club at State Farm Stadium

12News journalist Troy Hayden stopped by State Farm Stadium to chat with Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill and check out the new seating options.

PHOENIX — The Arizona Cardinals kick off the home slate of the 2024 NFL season on Sunday, Sept. 15 against the Los Angeles Rams.

But before Kyler Murray, James Conner and the rest of the team take the field, let's take a look at the new seating options and an exclusive club now at State Farm Stadium. 12News journalist Troy Hayden headed out to Glendale to take a look at the new field-level seats.

"What this is is over 700 seats we've added to the field level, including the casitas that are not in the building tonight but they will be for Sunday's game,"  Michael Bidwell, president and owner of the Cardinals said. "Then we've got our field boxes over here, we've got field suites that are on the other side of the field."

The seats will give fans an up-close view of games.

"There might be a couple of Cardinals players if we score, that maybe come over and jump into the areas to celebrate with our fans or into the casitas to celebrate with our fans, too," Bidwell said.

Anyone with a ticket to the field seats can access the Morgan Athletic Club.

The club is full of Cardinals history. There's a full bar and buffet, an area for live music, soft seating, a video wall, and lots of TVs.

"We wanted to have a sort of 1920s supper club vibe to it," Michael Bidwell, president and owner of the Cardinals said.

Along with the tour, Hayden also chatted with Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill about his predictions for the season.

"We're planning to win every game but we gotta go out there and execute. I know the team is working very hard, I was on the practice field yesterday and today with Coach Gannon and we talked to him after practice and he felt like we had a good practice today," Bidwell said.
