GLENDALE, Ariz. — The Arizona Cardinals are playing the Baltimore Ravens at State Farm Stadium in Glendale and there was some controversy in the first half.
The Cardinals were driving in the second quarter when quarterback Joshua Dobbs handed the ball off to running back Emari Demarcado on fourth down and one.
Demarcado took the ball up the middle and appeared to get the first down.
However, before the spot could be measured, one of the referees appeared to move the ball backward from its original spot.
Due to that, the Cardinals were ruled short and turned the ball over to the Ravens on downs.
On the CBS broadcast, color analyst Ross Tucker could not believe what he saw.
"Did you see that," Tucker questioned. "I have never seen that before in my life! He just moved it back half a yard!"
And we're sure Cardinals fans were also asking the same question.
Take a look at what happened for yourself below.
