Larry Fitzgerald delivers meals to Arizona frontline health care workers

Larry Legend teamed up with Ocean 44, Steak 44 and Dominick's Steakhouse to hand deliver meals to frontline health care workers.

PHOENIX — Arizona Cardinals star Larry Fitzgerald made a special delivery to some of the men and women on the frontline of the coronavirus pandemic.

Fitzgerald teamed up with Ocean 44, Steak 44 and Dominick's Steakhouse to hand deliver meals to frontline health care workers at three Valley hospitals and to the homes of three health care workers.

The Arizona football icon said he did not think twice about lending a helping hand to show our local health care workers some love.

"I am really happy they came up with the idea. I am really happy they included me in this and I am honored to be able to do it," Fitzgerald said.

"And I am looking forward to seeing all the men and women that are really doing the hard work for us and providing the necessary services to protect our people and our communities."

Stacy Hanson, a Valley health care worker, said she was overwhelmed when Fitzgerald walked up her driveway, food in hand.

"I promise to pay this forward," Hanson said.
