TEMPE, Ariz. — Budda's back! The Arizona Cardinals' star safety will make his return from injury when the Cardinals take on the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field in Seattle on Sunday, 12Sports Cameron Cox has confirmed.
The news was first reported by NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
Baker has been out with an injured hamstring, which he hurt during practice before the Cardinals' Week Two matchup against the New York Giants.
The Cardinals opened his 21-day practice window after activating him off of injured reserve earlier this week, but it was not clear if he would be activated for Sunday's game until now.
Getting Baker back is huge for the Cardinals, as he is not only one of Arizona's best players but is also one of the emotional leaders of the team.
The Arizona Cardinals also announced a few roster moves ahead of Sunday’s game:
Activated: Garrett Williams, cornerback
Elevated: Bobby Price, cornerback
Elevated: Damien Williams, running back
Kickoff between the Cardinals and Seahawks in Seattle is at 1:05 p.m. on Sunday.
