GLENDALE, Ariz. — Arizona Cardinals Head Coach Jonathan Gannon started out training camp by talking to the Cardinals about how they are going to win games and what kind of team they are going to be in the upcoming season.

When asked how he was going to win games, Gannon smiled.

"I'm gonna keep that one between closed doors," he said.

The Cardinals started training camp on Wednesday, hitting the grass ahead of the 2024 season. Camp will continue through Monday. The Cardinals went 4-13 during the 2023, with 19.4 total points per game and 330 points overall.

Gannon said for the most part the team is healthy to start camp. The only exception is Jon Gaines, who is starting "limited," Gannon said.

"He's chomping at the bit to get going," Gannon said.

This will be Gannon's second season with the Cardinals and he said his expectations for the team in the upcoming season is to improve every day, "line up and win games," and to only worry about today.

"I'm all about trying to get better every day," Gannon said.
