PHOENIX — The Arizona Cardinals have solidified the foundation of their offensive line after their most recent signing.
On Wednesday, the Cardinals announced they have signed center Hjalte Froholdt to a contract extension. Financial terms weren't immediately disclosed but the extension was for two years and will keep Froholdt with Arizona through the 2026 season.
Froholdt, 28, started all 17 games at center for the Cardinals last season. He joined Arizona last year as a free agent after previous stops with New England (2019-20) and Cleveland (2021-22). Froholdt was drafted by the Patriots in the fourth round (118th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Arkansas.
He calls Svendborg, Denmark home and began playing football in the United States during his sophomore year of high school as a foreign exchange student in Ohio.
