PHOENIX — The Arizona Cardinals announced the signing of third-round NFL draft pick Trey Benson on Thursday.
Benson, a running back from Florida State, was drafted 66th overall in the 2024 NFL Draft. The details of the four-year contract weren't immediately disclosed.
Arizona's new rookie running back signed his contract at the Dignity Health Arizona Cardinals Training Center in Tempe.
With Benson's signing, the Cardinals have all 12 members of their 2024 NFL Draft class under contract.
Benson played 27 games in the past two years at Florida State after beginning his college career at Oregon where he appeared in nine games in 2021. He finished his college career playing in 36 games and carrying the ball 316 times for 1,917 yards and 24 touchdowns.
