IRVING, Texas — Arizona State running back Cam Skattebo and quarterback Sam Leavitt along with Arizona kicker Tyler Loop were all honored by the Big 12 in their weekly awards, which were announced on Monday.

Skattebo was named the Big 12 Co-Offensive Player of the Week after rushing for 182 yards and a touchdown in the Sun Devils' 35-31 win over Kansas, which was ASU's first-ever Big 12 win. Skattebo had the second-most rushing yards in the Football Bowl Subdivision last week and had six rushes for at least 10 yards.

Texas Tech running back Tajh Brooks was named the other Co-Offensive Player of the Week after rushing for 128 yards and three touchdowns in the Red Raiders' 28-22 win over Arizona

This was the second time this season Skattebo has been named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week, as he also earned the honor in Week 2.

Leavitt was named the Big 12 Newcomer of the Week after passing for 157 yards, four touchdowns and rushing for 77 yards against Kansas. Leavitt became the first Sun Devil quarterback to throw for four touchdowns in a game since Joey Yellen in 2019 as he led ASU to a win in the first-ever Big 12 game at Mountain America Stadium in Tempe.

Despite the loss to Texas Tech, Arizona's Loop was impressive enough to be named the Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week. Loop hit five field goals against the Red Raiders, making him the first Wildcat ever to do that in one game. He was also the third kicker in the nation to accomplish that feat this season. Loop also leads the Big 12 with 12 field goals made so far this season.

The Sun Devils will be back on the field on Friday when they host Utah at Mountain America Stadium. Kickoff for that game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Arizona time.

The Wildcats will return to action on Saturday when they travel to Provo, Utah to play the No. 14 BYU Cougars. Kickoff for that game is scheduled for 1 p.m. Arizona time.
