One of the best rappers of all time is sponsoring a college football bowl game and it's right here in Arizona

The bowl game will be played later this year on Dec. 28 at Arizona Stadium in Tucson and had previously been sponsored by Barstool Sports.

ARIZONA, USA — Snoop Dogg is adding to his resume by getting into the college football game.

The rap star will be taking over sponsorship of the Arizona Bowl, now to be known as the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl presented by Gin & Juice.

Snoop Dogg made the announcement Monday on X (formerly Twitter).

"So it’s only fitting that I step up and help get this thing right. I’m ready to bring the ‘juice’ back to college football. I’m taking my talents to Arizona." Snoop Dogg said in the post.

The game will be played later this year on Dec. 28 at the University of Arizona Stadium in Tucson.

The Arizona Bowl has been around since 2015, when it became one of three new bowl games sanctioned by the NCAA.

The Valley hosts multiple major sporting events every year, including college football's Fiesta Bowl and Guaranteed Rate Bowl; the PGA Tour’s highest-attended event, the WM Phoenix Open; NASCAR events each spring and fall, including Championship Weekend in November; and Cactus League Spring Training for 15 Major League Baseball franchises.
