A little over a year after undergoing season-ending neck surgery, Baylor quarterback Seth Russell is most likely done for the rest of his senior season, too.

Late in the third quarter of the Bears' game against the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday, Russell scrambled out of the pocket and — after being taken down by Sooners linebacker Caleb Kelly — immediately began pointing to his left leg, which bent awkwardly during contact.

The Bears announced that Russell — who was carted off the field — suffered a dislocated ankle and will undergo X-rays at the stadium. Freshman quarterback Zach Smith entered the game as his replacement.

Beware: the replay is the furthest thing from pretty.

Players from both teams went over to high-five Russell and shake his hand as he was being carted to the locker room.

After the game, he was seen leaving the locker room with his leg wrapped and on crutches.

Russell has thrown for 2,126 yards this season and has 28 total touchdowns.
