SAN FRANCISCO — It all starts now.
After an off-season of change, it's finally time to lace up the sneakers and start the 2023-24 NBA season.
For the Phoenix Suns, this season brings new faces with the same expectations; championship or bust. The team added guard Bradley Beal over the summer and the addition is expected to give the Suns a formidable trio with superstars Devin Booker and Kevin Durant.
And the change doesn't end there. Out is former #1 pick Deandre Ayton and in is new center Jusuf Nurkic. Phoenix also revamped the core of their bench with new role players including Grayson Allen, Yuta Watanabe and Eric Gordon.
Along with the new players, Phoenix will also have a new head coach. Frank Vogel is bringing his defensive game plan and knowledge to the desert and is taking over as Suns coach.
The new-look Suns begin their 2023-24 NBA season on the road against the Golden State Warriors Tuesday night. Tip off for the game is at 7 p.m. and can be seen on TNT.
