PHOENIX — It's the end of September and the only thing higher than the championship expectations for the Phoenix Suns is the temperature.
And while the Valley hopes the forecast cools down at some point, fans are hoping the team gets hot this season and makes another run at the NBA title.
The Suns held their annual Media Day Monday and everyone from players to the front office had plenty to say about the new year.
"We like our team, I love our team," said Owner Mat Ishbia. "I think we have a great team."
Ishbia added that the front office is committed to doing what they can to help the team win.
"We're all in," he proclaimed. "We believe in our team."
Along with the buy in from the front office, another year of continuity and getting healthy should benefit the 2024-25 squad.
"The changes we made this summer allowed us to continue to build and continue with that momentum that we built," said General Manager James Jones. "I think this team really has a chance.
