Suns welcome draft picks to the Valley | Here We Go! with Cameron Cox

In this edition of "Here We Go!", Cam talks 1-on-1 with Suns draft picks Ryan Dunn and Oso Ighodaro. Both are ready to help the team now!

PHOENIX — "Here We Go!" isn’t your typical sports show. It’s the pulse of our Valley. We’ll tell you important stories, the ones that matter. From those who inspire, those who change lives and the names you grew up loving.

12Sports’ Cameron Cox takes you behind the scenes, on the field and talks to some of the biggest names in Arizona sports. This is your all-access pass.

We met the Suns' new draft picks this week at their new downtown headquarters.

First-round pick Ryan Dunn was selected 28th overall out of Virginia and second-round pick Oso Ighodaro out of Marquette was chosen at 40. Ighodaro is a local kid, who grew up in Chandler and won a state title at Desert Vista High School.

Both signed their new contracts and are ready to help the team now. Both also help the Suns accomplish their offseason wishlist: get younger and get better on defense.

For this edition of "Here We Go!", Cam talked to both draft picks 1-on-1 about joining the Suns.

Dunn and his family opened up about preparing for draft day since he was little, following in his brother Justin's footsteps, and how he ended up with an Arizona Diamondbacks jersey before the draft.

Ighodaro relived some of his favorite moments at Desert Vista, meeting Kevin Durant and his favorite order at a local popular Valley restaurant.
