Things have gone from bad to worse for the Phoenix Suns, as point guard Eric Bledsoe has officially been lost for the season.
Originally, it was thought Bledsoe's injured meniscus would keep the point guard out until after the all-star break.
On Tuesday, the team announced Bledsoe underwent successful surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee and said Bledsoe will miss the remainder of the season.
The team also said Bledsoe is expected to be at full health at the start of training camp next season.
This news comes amid a dark time for the Suns, as the team is slipping to the bottom of the Western Conference.
