Have you been to legendary Suns broadcaster Al McCoy's barber? If you're in central Phoenix, you can.

Ron Thomas has been cutting air in the Valley for nearly 60 years and for 50 years, he was legendary Suns broadcaster Al McCoy’s barber.

PHOENIX — If buildings could talk, the stories this barber shop on 7th Avenue in central Phoenix could tell.

The shop's owner is Ron Thomas. He’s been cutting air in the Valley for nearly 60 years, and for 50 years, he was legendary Suns broadcaster Al McCoy’s barber.

Thomas has plenty of Al stories, including the time he rented a piano for Al on his birthday to come play inside his shop.

McCoy died in late September at the age of 91. Thomas gives 12Sports’ Cameron Cox a tour of his shop, relives some of his favorite Al memories and shows a very special place where Al’s name will live forever.
