Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling combined to win 128 games during their time together in Arizona.
Johnson won four Cy Young awards during his time with the Arizona Diamondbacks, and two of those years Schilling was the runner up.
The duo also brought Arizona its first, and only, World Series title and combined for five All-Star game appearances.
But are they the best pitching duo of all time?
Randy Johnson thinks so.
"We pitched well together. It was probably as well as any two pitchers in the history of the game," Johnson said this week.
Now there have been plenty of formidable pitching staffs in the history of baseball, and some have had highly effective one-two punches at the top of their rotations.
It's hard to remember a duo more dominant than Schilling and Johnson were though.
