PHOENIX — Game 4 of the World Series between the Arizona Diamondbacks and Texas Rangers is underway at Chase Field in Downtown Phoenix!
And before the game, there were two awesome moments on the diamond.
First, four-time GRAMMY nominee, 2022 TIME Magazine Breakthrough Artist of the Year and country music star Mickey Guyton (who is a native of Arlington, Texas) sang the national anthem. This was Guyton's second major national anthem performance. She also sang 'The Star Spangled Banner' before Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

Fans on social media absolutely adored Guyton's performance.
Ceremonial First Pitch
Professional golfer and former ASU Sun Devil Jon Rahm threw out the ceremonial first pitch before the game. And he did it wearing the Green Jacket he won at the Masters earlier this year.
Fans loved that Rahm showed up to throw the first pitch wearing the Green Jacket on Halloween.
Arizona sports
The city of Phoenix is home to five major professional sports league teams; The NFL's Arizona Cardinals, NBA's Phoenix Suns, WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury, MLB's Arizona Diamondbacks and NHL's Arizona Coyotes.
The Cardinals have made the State Farm Stadium in Glendale their home turf and the Footprint Center in downtown Phoenix is home to both the Suns and the Mercury. The Indoor Football League’s Arizona Rattlers also play at the Footprint. Phoenix has a soccer team with the USL's Phoenix Rising FC.
The Valley hosts multiple major sporting events on a yearly basis, including college football's Fiesta Bowl and Guaranteed Rate Bowl; the PGA Tour’s highest-attended event, the Waste Management Phoenix Open; NASCAR events each spring and fall; and Cactus League Spring Training.
