ARLINGTON, Texas — Game 1 of the World Series between the Arizona Diamondbacks and Texas Rangers at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas is now underway and now we all have something new to look forward to before Game 2 on Saturday: a free taco!
Every year since 2007, Taco Bell has given all Americans a free taco after the first base is stolen in the World Series.
The player who steals that base is called the 'Taco Hero.'
This year, that honor goes to Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte who stole a base in the top of the third inning of Game 1!
To claim your free Doritos Locos Taco from Taco Bell, you must become a member of the Taco Bell rewards program by downloading the Taco Bell app. You will have 10 days to claim your free taco.
By the way, the D-backs are 6-0 this postseason when they steal one or more bases.
