D-backs pitcher Ryan Thompson has an effective slider. He also has some delicious ones too

Here We Go! with 12Sports' Cameron Cox eats tacos with D-backs pitcher Ryan Thompson. See why his own dish at a popular local spot means so much more.

PHOENIX — Here we go! This isn’t your typical sports show. It’s the pulse of our Valley. We’ll tell you important stories, the ones that matter.

From those who inspire, the people who change lives, to the names you grew up loving. 12Sports’ Cameron Cox takes you behind the scenes, on the field and talks to some of the biggest names in Arizona sports. This is your all-access pass.

Hope you’re watching this episode around lunch or dinner time! We sit down for tacos with Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Ryan Thompson.

He’s got his dish at the popular local spot Aunt Chiladas called Thompson’s Taco Sliders. Thompson's dish, which he created, includes a Shrimp Stuffed Pineapple Taco, a Carne Asada Taco and an Al Pastor taco. A dollar from every Thompson’s Taco Slider sold will go to Ryan’s favorite foundation -- JR98 INC.

JR98 INC honors Thompson’s former teammate with the Tampa Bay Rays Jean Ramírez, who died by suicide at the age of 28 on Jan. 10, 2022. Started by his parents, the foundation’s goal is to advocate for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention through education and community service.
