National anthem, first pitch and flyover info: Diamondbacks vs. Rangers World Series Game 5

The Rangers take on the D-backs at Chase Field Wednesday. Here's a look at who is performing the national anthem, throwing the first pitch and more.

PHOENIX — Today could be the end of the World Series if the Diamondbacks aren't able to pull off a win against the Rangers. It's expected to be another close game!

Here's a breakdown of everything you need to know about Game 5 of the 2023 World Series.

Who will sing the National Anthem?

Dinah Jane will perform the National Anthem before the game. She was a member of the award-winning pop powerhouse Fifth Harmony, one of the best-selling girl groups of all time.

Is there going to be a flyover for Game 5?

The 152nd Fighter Squadron from Tucson Air National Guard Base will support with four F-16s.

Will the roof be open?

According to the D-backs, the roof at Chase Field will be open, weather permitting.

When is first pitch?

Phoenix Police Officer Tyler Moldovan will throw the ceremonial first pitch at 5:03 p.m. Moldovan was shot multiple times in the line of duty and beat slim odds to make a miraculous recovery.

Arizona sports 

The city of Phoenix is home to five major professional sports league teams; The NFL's Arizona Cardinals, NBA's Phoenix Suns, WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury, MLB's Arizona Diamondbacks and NHL's Arizona Coyotes.
