PHOENIX — Good news D-backs fans, Chase Field's roof is going to be back in action!
The Arizona Diamondbacks announced on Thursday that the lengthy repairs to the structure were nearing completion.
"We will have complete roof functionality for the 2025 season and be fully operational by Opening Day," D-backs President, CEO and General Partner Derrick Hall said.
Previously, the roof could only be opened or closed when fans weren't present in the stadium because of safety concerns around the roof's pully system.
Once it's fixed, it should be a (literal) breath of fresh air to those looking to enjoy Arizona's outdoor weather while they cheer on the D-backs!
