Take a peek inside Joc Pederson's Bat Room | Here We Go!

D-backs' Joc Pederson takes 12Sports' Cameron Cox behind the scenes at Chase Field, into a room very few have ever seen, to explain his bat-collecting habit.

PHOENIX — Here we go! This isn’t your typical sports show. It’s the pulse of our Valley. We’ll tell you important stories, the ones that matter. From those who inspire, the people who change lives, to the names you grew up loving.

12Sports’ Cameron Cox takes you behind the scenes, on the field and talks to some of the biggest names in Arizona sports. This is your all-access pass.

D-backs DH/outfielder Joc Pederson is one of the more interesting players I've ever covered in baseball (in the best way possible), but he's also one of the best teammates. Since signing with the D-backs in the offseason, Pederson has quickly left his mark and the lefty has range.

From bringing a taco truck out to spring training to stealing his teammates' bats. That last line is somewhat true. This past week, the Diamondbacks broadcast said Pederson rarely uses his own bat at the plate.

I've never heard of that before. So Pederson took us behind the scenes at Chase Field, into a room very few have ever seen outside the clubhouse, to explain his bat-collecting habit.
