What to know before you go to NLCS Game 4, Diamondbacks v. Phillies

The Diamondbacks claimed their first victory in a 2-1 walk-off win on Thursday night and are heading into Friday’s games with high hopes.

PHOENIX — The Diamondbacks came home and ‘embraced the chaos’ in a 2-1 walk-off win against the Phillies on Thursday night. It seems like home field advantage was all the team needed to step up to the plate and secure a much-needed win after two road losses

Starting pitcher in Thursday’s game Brandon Pfaadt made Major League Baseball history as the first pitcher in postseason history with back-to-back starts allowing zero runs and zero walks. Pfaddt also had the seventh-most strikeouts by a rookie in a postseason game.

Ahead of tomorrow’s game, the team announced Joe Mantiply will start for the D-backs in Game 4. 12News Cameron Cox reports it will be a “bullpen game” for the Diamondbacks and the Phillies are starting Cristopher Sanchez.

Whether you are a die-hard D-backs fan or hopping on the bandwagon hopefully headed for the World Series, 12News has you covered. Here’s what you need to know ahead of Game 4 of the National League Championship Series (NCLS) happening right here in Phoenix on Friday.

Tickets

If you want to see the Serpentines attempt to keep the momentum going in-person at Chase Field, you may be shelling out major bucks. While tickets for Thursday’s game were shockingly low, it seems like both the D-backs and ticket prices are on the rise. Single digit ticket prices are a thing of yesterday – 12News found the lowest priced tickets are $81.
