The Arizona Cardinals have announced Liberty head coach Mark Smith as the Wells Fargo “High School Coach-of-the-Week."
Smith helped lead Liberty to a come-from-behind 30-27 win over Verrado High School last weekend.
With 10 minutes left in the game, Liberty trailed 27-12.
Lions kicker Cole Nixon completed the comeback with a game-winning 30-yard field goal.
This year's winners include:
- Week 1: Ty Wisdom, Horizon H.S.
- Week 2: Paul Moro, Marcos de Niza H.S.
- Week 3: Jeremy Hathcock, Desert Ridge H.S.
- Week 4: Mark Smith, Liberty H.S.
