Friday Night Fever Week 3 Game of the Week results

This week, fans chose between Arcadia at Ben Franklin, Mountain View at Liberty or Desert Mountain at Chaparral for the FNF Game of the Week!

PHOENIX — The high school football season continues to churn along as we have quickly moved through the first two weeks of the season and have now reached Week 3! 

In the 35th season of Friday Night Fever, Arizona's No. 1 and longest-running high school football show, we are continuing a new tradition for the third season by making you, the fans, a huge part of the show by allowing you to choose the first highlight of the night, our Game of the Week!  

With 72.7% of the vote, the Friday Night Fever Game of the Week for Week 3 is Arcadia at Benjamin Franklin!

The other options were Desert Mountain at Chaparral, which received 23.9% of the vote and Mountain View at Liberty, which got 3.4% of the votes. 

Arcadia at Benjamin Franklin 

The Game of the Week takes us back down to Queen Creek where the Benjamin Franklin Chargers will host the Arcadia Titans. 

The Chargers, who play in the 3A Metro East region, have started their season 3-0 with wins over Crismon (34-7), Coolidge (59-0) and Pusch Ridge (31-7). 

The Chargers will now get to prove their worth against one of the best teams in 4A in Arcadia. The Titans, who play in the 4A Desert Sky region, are 2-0 this season after beating Glendale (41-0) and Walden Grove (24-21). 

Arcadia is 2-0 all-time against Benjamin Franklin, according to MaxPreps. The Titans beat the Chargers 16-9 in 2022 and 31-14 in 2023.

Arizona sports

The Valley hosts multiple major sporting events every year, including college football's Fiesta Bowl and Guaranteed Rate Bowl; the PGA Tour’s highest-attended event, the WM Phoenix Open; NASCAR events each spring and fall, including Championship Weekend in November; and Cactus League Spring Training for 15 Major League Baseball franchises.
