SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — The WM Phoenix Open is already getting Valley golf fans excited — so excited that tickets for Saturday are already sold out.
Tournament Chairman George Thimsen announced Friday that the general admission tickets for the third round of the open on Feb. 10 are already gone. He added that there is a cap on Saturday tickets, as it is the biggest day of tournament week.
Later in the weekend, officials then announced tickets for Friday's second round were also sold out.
The tournament runs from Monday, Feb. 5 to Sunday, Feb. 11, but if you haven't gotten your tickets, you won't want to wait. Previous tournaments have set attendance records over the weekend rounds.
General admission tickets for all other days are still available online.
"Creating an exceptional fan experience is our top priority at the WM Phoenix Open and our dedication to elevating the quality of the fan journey guides every decision,” Thimsen said in a news release. “Our community is what makes 'The People’s Open' so special and a high demand event. With this demand, we are prioritizing the right atmosphere for our guests."
