Arizona State football fans have long been told to wear maroon or gold for the team's home games at Sun Devil Stadium. In recent years, one "Black Out" game was added in an effort to make the home environment that much more intimidating to opposing teams.

This season, for the first time, ASU football will host a "White Out" for their game against the University of New Mexico on September 18. The team will play decked out in all-white uniforms, while fans will be instructed to wear all white as well, though it figures there will be shirt giveaways for students, as was done for the team's "Black Out" games in the past.

ASU has gone with all-white uniforms only four times since 2011, going 1-3 in those games. None of those contests came at home, however, so fans will hope a change of scenery calls for a change in outcome.
