STILLWATER, Okla. — There's a late change of plans for the Arizona State Sun Devils football team. Their matchup on Saturday against the Oklahoma State Cowboys at Boone-Pickens Stadium in Stillwater, Oklahoma, was moved up by five-and-a-half hours from 6 p.m. to 12:30 p.m., ASU announced on social media.

"Tomorrow's game vs. Oklahoma State has been changed to a 12:30 p.m. (Arizona time)/2:30 p.m. (Central time) kickoff time due to weather," A post from the Sun Devil Football account on X read.

According to the National Weather Service in Norman, Oklahoma, Payne County, which is where Stillwater is, will be under a flood watch from Saturday morning through Monday afternoon and could receive anywhere from 4-6" of rain this weekend.

On Saturday, the NWS said there will be a slight chance of thunderstorms on Saturday morning, but that will increase in the afternoon. On Saturday night, they are forecasting thunderstorms that could produce heavy rainfall.

The Big 12 Conference said the move was "based off forecast models" and that both teams agreed to it.
