Alex Rodriguez passed Hall of Famer Willie Mays for sole possession of fourth place on the all-time home run list Thursday night.
The record breaking home run came when A-Rod took a Chris Tillman 1-1 pitch to straightaway centerfield.
It was Rodriguez's seventh home run of the season and gave the Yankees a 3-2 lead over the Orioles.
A-Rod just tied Willie Mays record on May 1, when he hit his 660th against the Red Sox.
